Winter can be brutal when you don’t have a roof or warm bedding. This season, ICCPL Group stepped in with a Blanket Distribution Drive across NCR, reaching people who spend their nights on pavements, under flyovers, and in areas far from regular support systems.
Our volunteers and team members moved through multiple locations where families, senior citizens, and children were trying to cope with the cold in minimal clothing and limited shelter options. Instead of a one-spot distribution, the drive focused on meeting people where they actually were, especially in high-need pockets that often get overlooked.
In total, we handed out more than 1,000 blankets, aiming to offer immediate protection from freezing nights. The response was deeply human and unforgettable. A warm blanket may seem like a small thing, but for someone sleeping outdoors, it can mean safer rest, less sickness, and a little relief from constant discomfort.
What stayed with us most were the quiet moments a thankful nod, a tired smile, a parent wrapping a child first. Those reactions reminded us that support is not only about material help, it is also about being seen.
For ICCPL Group, this initiative was about more than warmth. It was a reminder to stand with people who are often ignored, and to reinforce a simple message every life matters, and no one should feel invisible in the cold.
